This is a work in progress. I love doing epp. I find it very relaxing. This was done without any planning. It will be a cushion. And I will hand quilt it with perle thread. I haven’t done that before so I have very little idea of how it will look.
I am Judi and I have been cutting and stitching fabric since I could thread a needle. First I dressed my dolls, then I sewed my own clothes

I love this kind of work. I still have a double bedspread up in the top cupboard made by my mother in the 1970s out of dressmaking scraps and furnishing fabrics … she cut all the little templates out of her old cigarette packets! After she died I cleared out her fabric scrap basket (It was a laundry basket filled to the top) and found she’d started a new one … It’s stored in my camphor chest

Wow BB I would love to see your bedspread. I love to see the colours and prints used. And what a great use for the ciggie packets!
